#18 Stanford women's lacrosse (4-0, 2-0 MPLL) will host the #3 Georgetown University Hoyas in the 2nd Annual deBeer East/West Challenge this Sunday, March 9th, at noon on Maloney Field. Tickets will be $5 for adults, $3 for youth under 12 and free with a Stanford ID. Fans can join the Cardinal after the game for a poster-signing.

This will be only the third game for the Hoyas, who have rescheduled two matches so far. Georgetown won their first game against Virginia Tech 17-5 and edged William and Mary 15-13. The #3 Hoyas went 17-2 in 2002.

Stanford captured its fourth win over Denver last Sunday 15-9. Sophomore Kelsey Twist put up the first goal of the match to push the Cardinal into a lead it maintained for the entire game. Julia Calzonetti led the Cardinal with three goals and two assists while Cardinal keepers Kate Horowitz and Christina Saikus combined for a total of fifteen saves for the game.
