Stanford senior Liz Piselli scored five goals in Stanford's 8-2 win to advances them to Sunday's championship against Denver to see who earns the MPSF crown.

Stanford raced out to a five to one halftime lead and never looked back as their defense stifled the second seed Oregon Ducks. The win avenges Stanford's season-opening loss to the Ducks.

In the second half, Stanford's defense still held strong as they outscored the Ducks 3-1 after they built a strong halftime lead. Goalie Laura Shane stopped 11 shots in the victory and helped advance Stanford to tomorrow's championship game against Denver.

Stanford will attempt to claim a third straight title in the title game against Denver at 1 p.m.
