Lacrosse Outlook: Not Just the Best in the West

The Cardinal will look to get back to the NCAA tournament for the third-straight season, but the next step is to advance in the tournament.

High School: Earned Academic All-America honors in 2010 ... helped the Menlo School to the West Bay Athletic League title in 2008, '09, '10 and '11 ... also competed for the Bay Area Wave in 2009 and 2010 in club lacrosse ... also participated in cross country and soccer at the Menlo School ... a 2009 Central Coast Section honorable mention honoree in cross country in 2009.

High School: Major is undeclared, but interested in human biology and anthropology ... daughter of Dave and Jenni Vargas ... one older sister, Chelsea ... enjoys hiking, baking, running and hanging out with friends.
