Hey y'all!

So I have to admit that I am writing this as procrastination for the political science paper that I really am supposed to be doing : Last week was dead week, so that means that we had voluntary practices. The gym was open from 12-5 and we came in pretty much whenever we could. It's a bummer that we don't get to work out as a team for these two weeks, but it is crunch time in school as finals start tomorrow! Dead week we tried out a new "no fall" policy in the gym, which basically means that if you fall, you must leave the event and come back later to finish up what you were doing. I think it's working well, as it puts more competition-like pressure on us, so hopefully it will help us as we work out the final kinks before season starts. We have decided as a team to have one more intrasquad right after finals in preparation for our meet with Georgia on January 6th. We're going to set up Burnham Pavilion, so that should be pretty exciting. After that, it will be nice to go home and relax after finals and rejuvenate so that we will be nice and fresh come January. I for one cannot wait for competition season to start, it's going to be awesome so stay tuned!
