Hi everyone,

I'd just like to thank Steph for writing the last In The Locker Room. I know that was not an easy one to write and one that nobody wanted to do it. Things were pretty sad in the gym last week. There is still an air of disappointment around a lot of us, but we are looking more towards the future instead of dwelling on the past. Right now everyone is very focused on Nat and Tab and supporting them as much as possible. It's tough trying to keep up routines and enthusiasm without your team there for support, so we are all continuing to come into the gym and train.

Since most of the team is finished with season, during practice a lot of us are working on new skills and trying to clean up and perfect old skills. We are also working a lot on our conditioning and trying to determine what we need to do over the summer to stay in shape and come back kicking next year.

Most of the team is planning on driving to Oregon this coming weekend to go and watch Nat and Tabby. We are going on Thursday night after classes and driving through the night to get there for the competition. It should be fun. I'm very excited about it, because it is another chance we get to bond and hang out with the girls and especially the seniors. They are all hanging around next year, which is fabulous, so they will still be part of the team.

Thank you all so much for supporting us and allowing us to share such an amazing season with you. It didn't end the way it was supposed to, but that just fires us up for next year. With five fantastic freshmen coming in next year, SWG is going to be unstoppable!

Heather
