Feb. 11, 2005

Well, we just got back from the meet in Arizona and is sure is great to be back in sunny California (it was raining the whole time we were in Arizona). The meet went pretty well. We had more team spirit at this meet than we have had at any meet so far this season - I think we are settling into the routine of competing every weekend and our injuries are starting to heal. Some highlights from the competition were that Natalie was able to compete all-around again (her ankle is feeling better) and Tabby competed floor for the first time this season - AWESOME job Tabbs! But, we have big goals for this season so we are looking forward to getting back into the gym and training hard so we can improve upon our performances.

Last weeks practices were awesome. On Sunday we had a great team meeting where we recommitted to all of our goals for the season. In addition to Kristen, Scott, Larissa and Kendall we were lucky enough to have Scott (Kristen's husband) and Caroline and Lise (last years' seniors) helping in the gym a bunch this last week. Needless, to say practices have been pretty high energy!

Well, that about sums it up for last week in terms of SWG. I am looking forward to another week of training hard with my teammates and I know that we are all pumped up for next weeks competition in MAPLES - GO CARD!
