Hey Everyone!

Well, it has been another exciting week for SWG on The Farm. Last Sunday,s practice was highlighted with a visit by the team girls from Tumbleweed Gymnastics. They drove a whole four hours to come see us and we really enjoyed having them. We had a great question and answer session after practice that gave us the opportunity to get to know them a little bit and concluded with a handstand challenge (they were some tough competition!) We hope they had as much fun as we did. Best of luck to you girls and we hope to see you at some of our meets!!

Every day in the gym is an exciting one as many girls are coming back from injury and getting to do more gymnastics. Our team enthusiasm and energy was especially high this week and I think everyone is really excited to be competing. This week was the middle of midterms for us, so most of the girls were busy with studying as well, but I'm sure they all did wonderfully.

The week concluded with us traveling to Central Michigan to take on the Chippewas for our third meet of the season. Liz rocked bars, our first event of the night, posting a 9.925! Another highlight of the night was seeing Tabitha on bars and beam to compete for the first time. She was absolutely amazing and it is so wonderful to have her out there! Natalie was also back on bars this week after resting an ankle sprain last week and we expect her back on more next week. We also had some awesome support in the stands. Especially exciting for me was that my parents, sister, brother-in-law, and boyfriend were all there to watch and I got to spend all Saturday with them. Liz, Lauren, and Steph all had family there too- thanks to everyone for making the trip! We hope you enjoyed the show.

Well, that's all from SWG for now, be sure to check back in next week to hear more exciting news as we prepare to take on the Wildcats in Arizona!
