Holla!

Happy 2005! The holidays went by so fast but it was great to be able to go home and see my mom and my friends back in NJ. I spent the 8 days home visiting a lot of friends and catching up on the last few months that I have been away. The whole week before break, I was so excited to be going home but had a great time with the girls. Half of us stayed at Nat's house and the other half at the senior's house. We had so many great nights together, especially the ginger bread house one where we clearly saw who were the neat and efficient ones, and those who were more crazy and goofy with their creations. We came back the 27th of December and got right back to training to get ready for the season. We realized that we needed to work harder and stronger than ever before to reach our goals. Everyone was prepared to get back into the gym, excited to see everyone, and ready to make things happen. It was so great to see everyone happy and rested from their breaks and so much fun to exchange crazy stories that happened within those 8 days. I know I definitely had a lot of them. Anyways, this past week was our last week before the season really begins. As the week progressed, all the girls showed improvement and enthusiasm for our first competition. Everyone worked hard through the gymnastics and the conditioning. I don't know if I will ever love conditioning but I am coming to appreciate it more and more everyday :). We have a few more practices before we go to Berkeley and I know that I am definitely excited to get things going in 2005! GO CARD!
