Oct. 8, 2004

It is now the end of the second week of classes. Everyone on the team, especially freshmen, have become used to being students, as well as athletes, at Stanford. We have spent the last two weeks getting used to our hectic schedules, meeting people in our dorm, perfecting the art of bike riding under time-pressure, and learning the ropes here at college. We can now say that we are officially college students and all of us will agree that WE LOVE IT! The upper classmen have also figured out their schedules and are talking excitedly about new courses and what lays ahead. On a different note, we have just finished our hard week at practice. Everyone is doing an amazing job at keeping up with the flow and having a positive attitude when pushed to the maximum. The difficulty of skills keeps increasing and details are attended to, and the team looks great. Everyone is doing their best and the excitement for the season is growing everyday. It will be an amazing year for our Cardinal team!
