Excited, Thrilled and Prepared! Those three words are best to describe the team right now. We are leaving tomorrow for Regionals and our team has never looked better. This week has been awesome. Everyone came into the gym with a fresh mind from spring break, with excitement about new classes and with confidence in the work that we have done. This is truly the fun part of gymnastics. Finally the conditioning and hard work have paid off and now we are practicing near flawless routines that we just can't wait to show off. Practice is filled with positive reinforcement and smiles everywhere. Oh, and of course, new dance moves from Caroline's hip hop class that she is taking. :-)

We are also very pleased that our regional meet is in Denver. We competed there last year and are very comfortable with the atmosphere. Furthermore, I can't wait to eat dinner at Natty Fo's house. Her mom is a great cook and the whole family is just so entertaining.

It has been really awesome watching this team accomplish our goals thus far and even more exciting knowing that we are not done. A team like this comes around only once in a lifetime. I just keep reminding myself to just enjoy the moments and make them last.
