Wow! What a weekend! As Caroline mentioned last week, we always look forward to Pac 10s. The Seniors were especially excited this year because it would be our last opportunity to compete in a conference championship. I don't think that we could have asked for a better experience at our last Pac 10s.

Coming off of finals, we were all a little tired, but were excited to spend some time focusing on gymnastics. Everyone brought so much energy to the meet; not only the gymnasts and coaches, but our amazing fans, friends, and family as well. We started off strong on bars, and just kept the momentum going throughout the meet. The highlight of the meet was our final rotation on the vault. We stuck lots of landings, and Natalie scored a perfect 10, which was extremely exciting. Although we had a great meet, there are many great teams in the Pac 10, which made the meet a close one, coming down to the last UCLA beam routine.

We were thrilled to become Pac 10 championships and are on track to continue reaching our post-season goals. We were also very excited to see our coach, Kristen Smyth, receive much deserved Coach of the Year Honors.

This week we are on spring break and have been enjoying the break from school, and the wonderful weather we have been having. We will have an intrasquad this Friday to get ready for regionals, after which we are all going to see "Stomp" perform in Cupertino. We leave for the regional in Denver this coming Thursday and I know that we are all looking forward to using this meet as a chance to improve and prepare for nationals.
