Hey Everyone!

This past week has been great as well, and we seem to really be coming together as a team more than ever! Coming off a huge senior night meet against Cal, the Cardinal went off to Oregon in hopes of showing we could be just as good of a team on the road--a fact we had yet to prove. Unfortunately, I couldn't go because of a newly sprained ankle (sad, but healing fast as I can tell it to!), but my thoughts were with the girls :) Me, Marla, and Britt's good wishes (and truly one of a kind send-off gift ;) hopefully helped, because the Card had an awesome meet, scoring a 197.85 against the OSU Beavers--tying our highest away meet score ever! Ending on beam, each of the girls scored a 9.9 or better--talk about great. That near perfect performance set our school record for best beam score on the road. That night I was flooded with calls from everyone about the meet, it was so exciting!

In the gym, everyone is working really hard, and confidence about our abilities is really starting to build.

Tomorrow we leave for Maryland, and we're psyched because this will be the first time everyone will get a chance to travel. It should be tons of fun! It is our last regular season competition, so the team is just looking for another strong away score to get us geared up for postseason! East coast here we come! Have a wonderful week everyone,

Glyn
