Wow, this week has been such an exciting week in and out of the gym. It was our light week of conditioning, which everyone appreciated because we worked our butts off last week, but that means more gymnastics! I saw some great stuff in the gym this week; people were whipping out some awesome tumbling passes, flipping some new vaults, and of course bars and beam always look great. The freshmen are doing a wonderful job and they keep impressing me each day.

Today we had picture day! I am so excited for our new media guide. It has sort of an artistic dramatic theme. We took shots all over campus in these slick black leotards and the pictures are going to be in black and white. Everyone had really cool poses picked out and the setting was gorgeous. So that should be something to look forward to.

Also, Thursday night was the first full moon at Stanford. That might not mean much to a non-Stanford student, but that means full moon on the quad to us. It is a traditional event that happens every year. All the students go out on the quad around 11:00 p.m. and the idea is that for freshman, they are not a true Stanford student unless they kiss a senior at full moon. So, when the clock strikes 12:00, the festivities begin. Of course all of our freshman and seniors were out there continuing the tradition. It was a great time.

I just can't say enough good things about our team this year. It is going to be a big year for the Lady Card!
