Hey SWG Fans...
The last week of training for the SWG 2009 season is officially finished! One practice remains until we head to Lincoln, Nebraska for NCAAs! It is unbelievable how fast this year has gone. Since this was our final week our practices consisted of low numbers but high quality pressure routines. Our focus was primarily on detail work and putting on the finishing touches.
We came in on Monday ready to get back to business after a long day of travel on Sunday. It was hard to tell that we were feeling tired because we had an efficient and productive workout. Wednesday we went through a "game day" in the order that our prelim competition will go.Shout out to both Weedge and Cat who have stepped on vault allowing us to now have seven vaulters, instead of five! We breezed through our game day in an especially calm manner and hit 24 solid routines. Then Friday was a light workout again because Saturday morning we came in and ran through a prelim competition including warm ups and all of our byes. Our only correction from practice on Saturday was to stay calm and enjoy our routines. All of the work is done. It is time to relax and show off how amazing SWG is and who knows what will happen. The team is excited to walk out with our SWaGger and get the job done because this is the meet we have been preparing for all year. Please continue to check in throughout the week for updates on the competition! Thanks again for your continued support throughout the season.
Own that legacy, work that SWaGger!
