Hey SWG fans!

SWG had a very busy and exciting weekend! We had our last regular season meet on Friday and it sure ended on a high note. We got a taste of what post season would be like competing in front of the huge, loud crowd in Alabama. SWG rose to the challenge hitting 25/25 routines! We started off strong on bars and continued to build with each event, ending with a ridiculously solid beam line up. Huge shout out to Blair and Dani who stuck their vaults and Purnell who started off the strong beam line up! Also Fee and Peach had gorgeous dance on floor, winning over even the very spirited Alabama fans!

On Sunday we had a prospective student-athlete visiting the campus, which is always fun! We started the morning by going on a scavenger hunt all over campus, followed by cheering on the Stanford synchronized swimming team. We decided to have an 80s theme day at the gym and our team definitely went all out! After a practice we headed out in the sun for dinner and a volleyball match. Let's just say SWG won't be losing anyone to the volleyball team anytime soon!

SWG has fun in everything we do, whether it's hanging out in the airport, performing at a meet, training like champions, or attempting to play volleyball. We are definitely a true team and I cannot wait to see where the post season takes us! As always thanks for checking in!
