Jen Exaltacion- Updated 9/02
One of the most accomplished gymnasts in the history of her native Canada, Exaltacion was a Stanford gymnast from 1997-2001. One of the strongest balance beam and all around competitors in Stanford history, Jen was a 3-time All-American and was named Stanford?s "Most Outstanding Gymnast" in 1999. The only Stanford gymnast to be a member of both Pac-10 Championship teams, Jen was an excellent leader and solid competitor.

Jen graduated from Stanford in June of 2002 with a BS in product design and a minor in psychology. As a student assistant in 2002, she was the marketing and promotions director for Stanford Gymnastics. Her skills as a designer and creative eye are directing her career towards product development. She currently lives in the bay area and is a regular visitor at the Ford Center.

Katie Fitzpatrick- Update 9/02
Fitzpatrick was an exciting Cardinal gymnast, known for her high-flying release moves and graceful presence. A member of the USA National team, Katie was an exciting addition to the Stanford team. After contributing heavily to Stanford?s trip to the NCAA Championships in 1996, Katie was an individual qualifier to the NCAA Championships in 1997. Although hampered by injuries during much of her Stanford career Katie was a vital member of Stanford gymnastics from 1995-1999.

Katie graduated from Stanford with a BA in Public Policy and a minor in Biology. Initially she stayed on the Farm for 2 years working in the Stanford Office of Government and Community Relations. She then brought her talents to the San Francisco Budget Analysts Office. Currently, Katie is attending Georgetown University pursuing an MA in Public Policy.

Sarah Harding- Update 9/02
Harding will go down in the Cardinal record books as one of the most beautiful floor performers the NCAA has ever seen. Known to make judges cry at the beauty of her choreography and execution on the floor exercise, Sarah also contributed exciting performances on the uneven bars. As a member of the Cardinal team from 1996-2000 Sarah was an All-American and a vital member of Stanford?s first ever Pac-10 Championship Team in 1998.

Sarah completed her degree in East Asian Studies at Stanford in 2000. She earned two awards for her honors thesis, "Cartwheels for China", the Francisco Lopez Feminist Studies award and the Robert M. Golden award for humanities and performing arts. She then earned an MA in Communication in 2001. After spending a year working for the Undergraduate Research Program at Stanford (and being the official meet director for Stanford Gymnastics!) Sarah headed south. Currently dancing at Sea World?s Mystique De La Mer Summer Nights extravaganza, Sarah is considering pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.

Amy Murakami- Update 9/02
Murakami will go down in the history books as the first Cardinal gymnast to score a perfect 10 as well as the only Cardinal gymnast to achieve this feat on two events (Uneven Bars and Floor Exercise). Amy was a leader on and off the competition floor, a five-time All-American and an extremely consistent All-Around competitor as well as the team captain for three years. As a member of the Stanford team from 1995-1999 Amy played an important role in the 1996 visit to the NCAA Championships and Stanford?s first-ever PAC-10 title in 1998.

Amy completed her degree in Product Design in 2000 before accepting a position at the bay-area based company, Oracle. She?s a QA engineer, testing software integration between applications. Her newest sport is snowboarding, proving once and for all the coordination is not a prerequisite for athletic prowess.
