Can You Guess This Gymnast? Part IV

Oct. 14, 2012

STANFORD, Calif. - Test your knowledge of the Stanford women's gymnastics team by guessing who wrote the following poem:

I am artistic and independent
I wonder what the future holds
I hear laughter
I see the sunrise over the crystal blue ocean
I want to travel the world
I am artistic and independent

I pretend that I can talk in an American accent and see if people will notice
I feel loved when I think about the amount of support that I have
I touch wood, even though I am not superstitious
I worry if I think I've let people down
I cry when I feel alone
I am artistic and independent

I understand that nothing worth having comes easy
I say that everything happens for a reason
I dream about the adventures I'm yet to embark on with my four classmates and best friends
I try to make the best of every opportunity
I hope my family realizes how thankful I am for the sacrifices they've made for me
I am artistic and independent

The author of this poem will be revealed Monday.
