Stanford placed six members on the 2007 NACGC All-Academic Team Thursday, as announced by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W). Leading the way was senior Aimee Precourt (Pasadena, TX) who earned a 4.00 GPA as a Human Biology major. This is her third time being named to the All-Academic team while on the farm.

Senior Alex Pintchouk (Lawrenceville, NJ) was also named to the list of Academic All-Americans after earning a 3.88 GPA as an International Relations major. This is also the third time she has been recognized for her work in the classroom as she has been honored once before as an Academic All-American and once as a Pac-10 All-Academic.

Senior Lauren Elmore (Bloomington, IN) and junior Kelly Fee (St. Charles, IL) were also named Academic All-Americans with their strong GPAs of 3.64 and 3.58, respectively. Elmore is a current Economics major and Fee is undeclared. Elmore and Fee are former NACGC Academic All-Americans.

Sophomores Carly Janiga (Paradise Valley, AZ) and Allyse Ishino (Santa Ana, CA) were named to their first NACGC All-Academic team after earning GPAs of 3.59 and 3.58, respectively. Janiga, while at Saguaro High School, was a member of the National Honor Society. Both sophomores are undeclared in their choice of major.
