The No. 5 women's gymnastics team (SWG) closed out a historic 2007 season with their annual awards banquet on Friday, June 1, in the Director's Level of the new Stanford Stadium. The 2007 Cardinal squad turned in the second best season in school history, including a 5th place finish at NCAA National Championships, their third appearance in the elite Super Six team finals in the last six years, 54 of 54 possible routines hit at the Championships, and 13 All American Honors.

21-3 win loss record - best record in school history
Undefeated PAC 10 regular season for the first time in school history

Starter Award
This is a new award that the coaches decided to give to recognize how important the first person up on an event is in setting the tone and building the confidence for the entire group to follow. This award goes to the lead off person on an event that competed in every meet and had a 100% hit rate.
