Difficult conditions mired Saturday's final round of the NCAA Central Regional as Stanford failed to qualify for the NCAA Championships. The Cardinal struggled to a round of 44-over-par 332 to finish in 14th place. Only the top eight teams will go on to compete at the NCAA's.

On day two of the NCAA Central Regional Championships from the Scarlet Golf Course, the Cardinal moved up to 13th place. Stanford finished with a round of 16-over-par 310 for a two-day total of 38-over-par 614. The Cardinal sit 12 strokes out of eight place, the threshold to advance to the NCAA Championships in two weeks.

Stanford Set To Compete in the NCAA Central Regional

Stanford will travel east to Columbus, Ohio to compete in the NCAA Central Regional at the Scarlet Golf Course. The Cardinal enter the tournament as the ninth seed out of 21 teams. UCLA is the top seed, while several other top teams will compete for the eight spots at the NCAA Championships.
