KAPOLEI, Hawaii Stanford's women's golf team carded rounds of 295 and 291 (+10) and is in fourth place after 36 holes at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational. The Cardinal trails UCLA by 20 strokes and is two strokes out of second place.
Kristina Wong (-2) fired rounds of 73 and 69, good for a tie for third. Wong trails UCLA's Lee Lopez by three strokes. Wong's second round included an eleven-hole run that saw six birdies and five pars.
Sally Watson (-1) is tied for fifth after shooting 71 and 72. Watson birdied three of her final six holes to pull within four strokes of the leader.
Marissa Mar (+5) is tied for 17th after rounds of 75 and 74.
Lila Barton (+8) carded consecutive rounds of 76 to tie for 26th.
Danielle Frasier is ten-over after shooting 76-78. She is tied for 30th.
