STANFORD, Calif. -- - Five members of Stanford's women's golf team earned spots on the Pac-12 Conference's All-Academic team, led by junior Sally Watson, who merited first team honors.
Watson, who carries a 3.72 cumulative grade point average as an international relations major, is joined on the first team by Justine Lee (3.80; exercise and wellness), Giulia Molinaro (3.63; tourism and management) and Daniela Ordonez (3.92; business) of Arizona State, along with Rachel Morris (3.78; business administration) of USC and Jacqueline Williams (3.61; psychology) of Cal.
Watson also earned first team status last year as a sophomore.
Lila Barton (3.22; international relations), Sydney Burlison (3.75; communications), Kristina Wong (3.35; psychology) and Marissa Mar (3.12; undeclared) were honorable mention selections.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be either a starter or significant contributor on their team.
