Stanford Third, Homeyer Second at Ihlanfeldt Invitational
REDMOND, Wash. -- The Stanford women's golf team is in third place
with 298 after one round of play at the Edean Ihlanfeldt
Invitational played at the par 72, 5918 yard Sahalee Country
Club in Redmond, Wash. The Cardinal is looking to win the
tournament for the second consecutive year after taking the
team championship last season (301-289-295--885).
Stanford freshman Hilary Homeyer is tied for second place at
one-under par 71. Sophomore Julie Dunn and freshman Stephanie
Keever are tied for 16th at three-over par 75.
Tulsa leads all teams at 289 followed by Oregon 292. Stanford
is third at 298 followed by San Jose State at 299. New Mexico
State rounds out the top five at 302.
The Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational continues through October 15.
Tee times will begin at 10 am on Tuesday and at 8 am on
Wednesday.
