Women's Golf in 18th Place after Day One at NCAA Championships

MADISON, Wis. - The Stanford women's golf team is in 18th place at 304 after the first round of play at the NCAA Women's Golf Championships played at the Madison Ridge Golf Course (Par 72, 6033 Yards) in Madison, WI.

Arizona State leads all teams at 11-under par 277. Indiana is second at 284 followed by Duke and Florida at 285. Arizona and North Carolina are tied for fifth at 290. Arizona State's Grace Park and Duke's Jenny Chuasiriporn of Duke are tied for first place individually at seven-under par 65.

Stanford's Jae Jean Ro is tied for 32nd at 73 followed by Stephanie Keever in 51st place at 75. Hilary is tied for 68th at 77 followed by Julie Dunn and Jessica Belskis in 82nd at 79.

The 72-hole event continues through Saturday, May 28.
