STANFORD, Calif. -- The Stanford women's golf team moved into fifth place with 597 after carding a 296 in the second round of the NCAA West Regional played at the Stanford Golf Course (Par 73, 6093 Yards). Arizona leads all teams at 573 after firing a nine-under par 573 in the second round. Arizona State is second at 590 followed by Oklahoma State at 595. Texas is in fourth place at 596.
Arizona State's Grace Park is on top individually at seven-under par 139. Marisa Baena of Arizona and Niina Laitinen of Tulsa are tied for second place at 141. Four women are tied for fourth place at 144. Stanford freshman Stephanie Keever is tied for eighth place at 145.
The 54-hole tournament concludes on Saturday. The top 11 teams and two individual qualifiers in the West Region will compete at the NCAA Championships in Madison, Wisc. on May 20-23.
