Women's Golf Second After One Round in Tempe

TEMPE, Ariz.--Stanford freshman Hilary Homeyer is on top individually after shooting a two-under par 70 in the first round of the Ping/ASU Invitational played at the Karsten Golf Course (par 72, 6101 yards) in Tempe, Ariz. The Cardinal is only one stroke behind team leader San Jose State (289) after tallying a two-over par 290 in round one.

Stanford sophomores Jae Jean Ro and Julie Dunn are tied for third at 72. Freshman Stephanie Keever is tied for 25th at 76 while freshman Jessica Belskis is tied for 64th at 80. Lauren Robertson, playing as an individual, is also tied for 64th.

The three-round Ping/ASU Invitational continues through Sunday, April 5.
