MENEFEE, Calif. - The Stanford women's golf team is tied for second place at 304 after the first round of play at the UCLA Pioneer Electronic Bruin Classic. The three day tournament is being played at the par 72, 6019 yard Menefee Lakes Country Club. Oregon leads all teams at 299 followed by Stanford and Tulsa at 304. New Mexico is tied for fourth at 308 followed by Arizona State at 309.
All five Stanford golfers finished in the top 25, led by freshman Stephanie Keever. Keever is tied for third place at two-over par 74. Sophomore Julie Dunn is tied for 17th at 76 while sophomore Hilary Homeyer, sophomore Jae Jean Ro and freshman Jessica Belskis are tied for 24th at 77.
Oklahoma's Isabelle Blais and Brooke Lowrance of Texas Tech are tied for first place individually at 73. Nine women are tied for third at 74.
The Pioneer Electronic Bruin Classic continues through Wednesday, February 25.
