STANFORD, Calif.- Sophomore Camille Gandhi added to her list of postseason honors on Tuesday when she was named a Third Team All-American selection by WomensFieldHockey.com.

Just last week, Gandhi was recognized as a 2008 Longstreth/NFHCA All-West Region selection and awarded a spot on the 16-player First Team.

Last year, Gandhi was tabbed to the WomesFieldHockey.com All-Rookie squad.

Gandhi was named the 2008 NorPac Player of the Year, collecting Stanford's first such honor since Michelle Scott in 2000. The 2007 NorPac Rookie of the Year led the Cardinal in assists (10) and shot attempts (54). She also scored four goals for a total of 18 points in 18 games, including the game-winner in Stanford's 2-1 victory over No. 16 California in the NorPac Tournament championship game. Gandhi missed two games in early October as she led the USA U-21 National Team to a gold medal at the 2008 Junior Pan American Games in Mexico City.

Stanford finished 9-11 overall this year, advancing to the NCAA Play-in game for the second straight season. The Cardinal was also crowned NorPac Tournament champions for the second year in a row and won seven of its final nine games to close out the season.
