STANFORD, Calif.- Another week, another NorPac Rookie of the Week award for freshman Alex McCawley.

McCawley was named the NorPac's West Division Rookie of the Week for Oct. 25, collecting her fifth such honor this year and fourth over the last five weeks.

McCawley registered one goal, one assist and three shot attempts in Stanford's 5-0 rout of UC Davis on Oct. 21. The Cardinal (13-2, 6-0 NorPac) closed out conference play with an undefeated record and completed a season sweep of the Aggies.

McCawley figures to be the front-runner for the West Division's NorPac Rookie of the Year, as she has totaled five goals, four assists, 14 points and 39 shots through 15 games.

With a minimum of five games remaining in the season, Stanford is within striking distance of the school record for victories (17) established in 2009. The Cardinal has secured the West Division's No. 1 seed for the NorPac Championship and will open play on Thursday, Nov. 3, at 1:30 p.m.
