STANFORD, Calif.- Freshman Becky Dru was named NorPac Rookie of the Week for Oct. 6-12, earning the honor for the second consecutive week and adding to Stanford's impressive total in 2009.

One week after claiming her first career NorPac weekly honor, Dru was again named the conference's top rookie after she scored her seventh goal of the year and tallied seven shots- five of which were on goal- in a 3-0 road shutout of Pacific that saw Stanford hold convincing advantages in shots (29-2) and penalty corners (20-1).

Stanford has now captured eight NorPac Player of the Week honors in 2009. Dru and sophomore Alessandra Moss have been recognized twice, while junior Jaimee Erickson, freshman Kelsey Lloyd, senior Rachel Mozenter and senior Midori Uehara have also received weekly accolades.

The Cardinal is now 11-2 overall and 3-1 in league play, remaining atop the West Division standings.

Stanford is back in action on Saturday, Oct. 17, hosting UC Davis at 1 p.m.
