STANFORD, Calif.- The Stanford field hockey program was recently featured in the first edition of "19 Hours", the latest in a long line of newly-formed creative video initiatives designed to showcase each of the department's 35 varsity sports.

Developed by "The Cardinal Channel", the exclusive video network of Stanford Athletics, the "19 Hours" project provides every team 19 hours of total production time to create one video to publicize their program. Student-athletes from each sport are charged with establishing a unique theme or concept for a video.

The field hockey program was the first team to complete its "19 Hours" video, producing the short film below that lasts just over two and a half minutes. An exciting "behind-the-scenes" compilation follows the "19 Hours" feature piece.

Stay tuned to www.gostanford.com for additional "19 Hours" videos from Stanford's other athletic programs.
