STANFORD, Calif.- Four of Stanford's 18 regular-season games will be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks, as announced Thursday morning.
Highlighting the appearances is an Aug. 26 matchup against two-time defending NCAA champion Maryland, representing Stanford's first televised field hockey game from the Varsity Turf.
Stanford makes its second network appearance on Sept. 7, welcoming Iowa to The Farm. In addition, both regular-season meetings against rival California will be televised.
The updated dates and times for Stanford's appearances on the Pac-12 Networks are as follows:
Aug. 26 (Sun.) vs. Maryland - 1 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks)
Sept. 7 (Fri.) vs. Iowa - 2:30 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks)
Sept. 28 (Fri.) at California - 12 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks)
Oct. 23 (Tue.) vs. California - 7 p.m. (Pac-12 Networks)

This year's slate features five contests against NCAA Tournament squads from a year ago, highlighted by the visit from Maryland. A total of six teams ranked in the top-20 of the final 2011 Kookaburra/NFHCA Division I National Coaches poll appear on Stanford's schedule.
The Pac-12 Networks launch August 15 and will consist of one national and six regional networks devoted solely to the Pac-12. In addition to the hundreds of live televised Pac-12 sporting events, Pac-12 Networks subscribers will have access to their carrier's TV Everywhere platform, providing access to all Pac-12 Networks programming on any device through their broadband service.
