Stanford Field Hockey Shuts Out St. Louis, 3-0
St. Louis, Mo. - Stanford field hockey shut out St. Louis University, 3-0, today in the team's first game of four in St. Louis. The Cardinal improved its record to 2-3 on the season.
Stanford's Monique Leroux, in her first game back from the Junior World Team, scored the team's first goal late in the first half. Michelle Scott and Lindsey Dunagan each found the back of the cage in the second half to seal a Stanford victory. The Cardinal outshot St. Louis 15-2, while Kelly Naylor posted her second shutout of the season.
The Cardinal has three more games in St. Louis: Thursday vs. Northwestern, Saturday vs. Ball State and Sunday vs. Miami (Ohio).
