Women's Field Hockey Shuts Out UC Davis

STANFORD, Calif.- Stanford defeated UC Davis in a non-varsity game, 6-0, today. The Cardinal led 3-0 in the first half, including one goal scored off a penalty stroke. Stanford held UC Davis shotless in the first half, but allowed four shots in the second. Freshman keeper Meg Crowley stopped a penalty stroke by the Aggies to clinch the shutout.

The Cardinal will play on Friday against Cal in a tie-breaker game for the NorPac Champion. The location and time will be announced on Monday.
