High School: A graduate of National Cathedral School • Led her team as a senior in assists (15) and tackles (244), while tying for third on her squad in goals (11) on her way to a third consecutive Team MVP selection • Also captain of her squad in 2004 • All-Independent School League All-Star from 2002-04 • Earned Honorable Mention Washington Post All-Metro honors in 2003 and `04 • Nominated for All-American honors in 2003 • Helped her team to a second-place finish in the ISL in 2004 when her team finished the season with a 15-1-1 overall record • Team was ranked as high as fourth at one point in the Washington Post final poll (the highest ranking in school history) and ended the 2004 season fifth • Also played club ice hockey and indoor hockey • Earned numerous academic honors, including AP Scholar with Honor in 2004

Other Amateur Field Hockey: Played with Capitol Pegasus from 2001-05, serving as captain in each of the last two campaigns • Led her team to a National Indoor Tournament Pool championship in 2004.
