USRowing Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - USRowing announced the selection of two women's crews that will represent the United States at the 2010 World Rowing Championships in Lake Karapiro, New Zealand from Oct. 31-Nov. 7, and Stanford senior Elle Logan was among those getting the call.
Logan was selected to be part of the U.S. women's eight crew, and will be making her second straight appearance at the World Rowing Championships.
Last year in Poznan, Poland, Logan earned a silver medal as part of the U.S. women's four with three of her crewmates in this year's eight, Esther Lofgren, Jamie Redman and Amanda Polk.
An alternate for the U.S. National Team in 2007, Logan earned bronze with the U.S. eight at the Under-23 World Rowing Championships that same year. A year later, she helped the U.S. eight to its first Olympic Gold Medal since 1984 at the 2008 Beijing Games.
