CRCA Women's Rowing All-America Teams

STANFORD, Calif. - Daphne Martschenko and Kristy Wentzel represented Stanford Women's Rowing on the CRCA All-America First Team, the organization announced Monday.

The announcement marked the first All-America honors for both rowers. Martschenko and Wentzel were members of Stanford's I Eight boat that finished eighth at the NCAA Championships, as the Cardinal took ninth overall in the team standings.

Martschenko was named to the All-Pac-12 Team back on May 24. At the Pac-12 Championships in mid-May, Martschenko and Wentzel helped row the I Eight to a fifth-place finish as the Cardinal finished fourth in the team standings.

Stanford qualified for the NCAA Championships for the fourth straight time since the format was changed to include 16 full teams in 2009.
