High School: District Individual Cross Country Champion as a junior and senior ... member of Idaho State Champion cross country team in 2001 and 2003 ... took second in the 1,600 meters and 3,200 meters as a senior at the Idaho State Track Meet ... Idaho State Champion in the 1,600 meters as a junior (then-third fastest time in Idaho HS state history) ... holds school records in the 4x800meters and distance medley relays ... Valedictorian, National Honor Society member, National Merit Scholarship winner.
