Tickets to No. 1/1 Stanford's showdown against No. 2/2 Connecticut at Maples Pavilion are sold out.
Stanford will put the nation's longest active home winning streak of 82 games on the line at 1 p.m. Dec. 29 against the second-ranked Huskies. The contest will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU with Dave O'Brien and Doris Burke on the call and Rebecca Lobo reporting from the sidelines.
The last time the teams met at Maples Pavilion, on Dec. 30, 2010, Stanford defeated Connecticut 71-59 to snap the Huskies' NCAA-record 90-game winning streak.
The contest will lead off a doubleheader of Cardinal basketball, as the Stanford men will host Lafayette at 7 p.m. Fans can show their Stanford-Connecticut tickets for a $10 general admission ticket to the men's game.
