STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford women's basketball and The Cardinal Channel debuted this season's new episodic web series, "Cardinal Land" Wednesday. The web series will run throughout the 2012-13 season as the Cardinal fights its way toward the 2013 Final Four in New Orleans.

"Cardinal Land" goes behind the scenes with the top-ranked women's basketball team in the nation, showcasing the tight, fun-loving atmosphere that has kept the Cardinal loose and led to five straight Final Four appearances.

The first episode of the series not only gives fans early info on Dec. 29's showdown with No. 2/2 Connecticut at Maples Pavilion, but also shows fans some humorous outtakes from the team's preseason green screen filming. In the highlight of the episode, senior forward Joslyn Tinkle gives fans a rundown of the team's trip to Hawaii from Nov. 14-18 in which the Cardinal went 3-0 and defeated then-No. 1/1 Baylor, 71-69, en route to the Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic title.
