STANFORD, Calif. (AP) -- Olympia Scott scored 18 points, and No. 15 Stanford opened conference play by beating Oregon State 93-66 Friday night for its 57th straight win at home over a Pac-10 opponent.

Heather Owen and Milena Flores added 15 points apiece for the Cardinal (4-4, 1-0), seeking their ninth Pac-10 title in 10 yea

Kristin Folkl, in just her second game since rejoining the team after helping Stanford's volleyball squad to a second straight NCAA championship, had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Monica Watts' 21 points led Oregon State (5-5, 0-1), which remained winless in 12 games at Maples Pavilion. Nicole McAllister had 13 points and Vanessa Morris 12.

Up by seven at halftime, Stanford broke it open with a 20-4 run to go in front 70-47 with 9:10 remaining. Scott's three-point play capped the flurry that also was highlighted by a series of fastbreaks finishing in easy baskets by Flores, Folkl and Regan Freuen.

Stanford broke out on top 14-3 but Oregon State settled down and worked its way back into the game. McAllister hit a baseline jumper to start a 7-0 burst that pulled the Beavers within 37-30.

Freuen connected on a 3-pointer for Stanford with 1:41 remaining in the first half before Oregon State closed by scoring five of the next seven points to trail 44-37 at halftime.
