Stanford Loses at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Stephanie White scored 27 points as Purdue stormed back from a six-point halftime deficit to extend third-ranked Stanford's road woes with a 78-68 victory over the Cardinal.

Ukari Figgs added 16 points and nine assists for the Boilermakers, who made 16-of-30 shots in the second half. Katie Douglas netted 13 for Purdue, which also made 23-of-27 free throws, including 11-of-12 by White.

Vanessa Nygaard scored 23 points and Heather Owen added 15 for Stanford (0-2), which lost at Wisconsin on Friday. The Lady Cardinal shot just 40 percent (23-of-57) from the field and 4-of-19 from three-point range.
