Stanford picks up fifth consecutive victory.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - Olympia Scott scored 15 points, and Regan Freuen added
14 as ninth-ranked Stanford continued its domination of Arizona State with an
81-54 victory Thursday night.
Vanessa Nygaard added 12 points for the Cardinal (11-5, 8-1 Pac-10), which
beat the Sun Devils for the 11th time in a row and 20th in 21 games. Stanford's
overall winning streak is five games.
Leaf Newman scored 12 points to lead Arizona State (7-10, 3-5), which has
lost three of its last four games. Michelle Tom added 10 points.
Stephanie Freeman converted a four-point play, sinking a 3-pointer as she
was fouled. She added a free throw to give the Sun Devils a 15-14 lead with
12:07 left in the first half.
Then Melody Peterson hit a short jump shot before Freuen had 10 straight
points as Stanford outscored Arizona State 13-4 over the next 7:03 to take a
29-19 lead.
The Cardinal, which has won 71 of its last 72 conference games, led by as
many as 27 points in the second half.
