STANFORD, Calif. (AP) - Super sub Kristin Folkl sparked the go-ahead rally and led all scorers with 22 points as No. 13 Stanford beat Washington State 91-53 Thursday night.

Olympia Scott added 16 points for the Cardinal (9-5 overall, 6-1 Pac-10).

The Cougars dropped to 8-7 overall and 2-4.

In a sloppily played game marred by a total of 57 turnovers, including 31 in the first half, Washington State's starters only could muster eight points in the second half.

Folkl dominated inside against Washington State (8-7, 2-4), pulling down six rebounds and making seven of eight shots, mostly from close range, in 25 minutes.

Scott, who also had six rebounds, scored 10 points in the first five minutes of the second half as Stanford pulled steadily away with a 23-10 run in a span of 9:09.

The Cougars led 10-4 four minutes into the game, but Stanford roared back with a 10-0 run - the first five points by Folkl - to lead 14-10. The Cardinal led thereafter.

Washington State was led by center Yvonne Kunze's 11 points. Vanessa Nygaard added 13 for Stanford.
