Liz Rizza begins her first year interning with the Stanford women's basketball program. Her duties include supporting marketing, video exchange, videographing practices and games, conditioning and team practices. Additionally, Rizza will support all the coaches on special projects as requested.
Rizza brings several years experience as an assistant women's basketball coach at the Division II level and a year as a television producer to the program. Rizza played point guard at Chatham University in Pittsburgh and at South Eugene High School in Oregon. She also competed in track as a state-level sprinter. Rizza received a bachelor's degree in communications-television production and earned a master's degree in parks and recreation-resource management from Slippery Rock University.
