The No. 2 Stanford women's basketball team concludes its exhibition slate this Sunday afternoon, Nov. 8 with a 2 p.m. tip-off against the UC San Diego Tritons at Maples Pavilion. The game will serve as Stanford's final tuneup prior to its 2009-10 season opener on Nov. 13 at Old Dominion. The 2009-10 Stanford women's basketball team will see its first competitive action of 2009-10 with an exhibition contest on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m. against the Vanguard Lions. The teams met in an exhibition at Maples Pavilion last year, as well, with Stanford claiming an 87-41 victory. Sunday's exhibition contest against Vanguard can be heard live on KZSU 90.1 FM with Teddy Steinkellner on the call.
