David Dunford

Dunford made his Olympic debut on Wednesday when he swam in the opening round of the 50 meter freestyle. Dunford won his heat with a time of 22.29 seconds, but finished with the 19th fastest time overall and did not advance to the semifinals...(posted Aug. 14)

Dunford just completed his sophomore year at Stanford and will be competing in his first Olympics for Kenya...Dunford earned an All-America honorable mention honor by placing 16th in the 50 free at the 2008 NCAA Championships...He also earned an All-America honor as a member of the 200 free relay that finished fourth...Won two gold and one silver medal at the 2006 African Championships for Kenya.
