Born in Christchurch, New Zealand, Bodensteiner is making her Olympic debut this summer in Beijing as part of the New Zealand Women's Basketball Team ... At the Good Luck Beijing Tournament, cashed in on 50.0% (6-of-12) of her three-point attempts ... Also scored 5.7 points and grabbed 1.7 rebounds per game in the tournament.

Completed her Stanford career in 2006-07, seeing action in 26 games while averaging 1.1 points and 0.6 rebounds in 7.5 minutes per game. A key player off the bench for the Cardinal, she appeared in 96 games, starting eight, over her five years on The Farm (Bodensteiner redshirted the 2004-05 season).

2008 Olympics (Beijing): Grabbed an offensive rebound in one minute of action in 76-72 win over Mali (8/8) ... played four minutes in 85-62 loss to Spain (8/10).
