ST. LOUIS - Stanford wrestlers Nick Amuchastegui and Ryan Mango spoke with the media before a practice session, Wednesday, at the Scott Trade Center in St. Louis, Mo., the site of the 2012 NCAA Wrestling Championships.

The pair begin their quest to accomplish something only former Cardinal Matt Gentry ever did in a Stanford singlet - win a national title. Amuchastegui enters the tournament as the three seed and is 20-0 overall at 174 pounds this season. Mango, the eight seed, is 25-5 and will wrestle at 133 pounds.

In the press conference, Amuchastegui, a senior from Talent, Ore., talks about his thoughts on being the third seed despite being undefeated on the year, on attempting to become a three-time All-American and competing in his final NCAA Championships.

Mango, a St. Louis, Mo., native, talks to a local TV station about wrestling in the championships in his hometown, what gives him confidence this year and what it will be like wrestling in the championship atmosphere.
