Two Stanford Wrestlers Still Alive at NCAAs
STANFORD, CA -- Two Stanford University wrestlers - Jimmy
Aguirre (134 pounds), Tod Surmon (142) - are still alive in the
NCAA Wrestling Championships (as of noon PST Friday), which began
Thursday and run through Saturday at the Target Center in
Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Surmon, the sixth-seed in his bracket is 2-1 entering tonight's
action, while Aguirre is also 2-1 pending consolation bracket this
afternoon. The third Cardinal wrestler at NCAAs, Sahlan Martin
(158), was eliminated after going 0-2. Here's a match-by-match
